Hike up to the cross on the mountain above Wailuku

If you are in Wailuku, and you look into Iao Valley, there is a large white cross on the ridge of the left side of the valley. I understand that if was originally placed there back in the late 1950's by the students of St. Anthony High School. There is a trail to it that starts near the split off point for the start of the road into Iao Valley. It's not a long hike by distance but it rises over 1000feet from the start point of the trail to the cross. It is an intense stair master of a hike.
